services are available:
Supervision & Training Group in Family Therapy
Each year we offer a nine-month Supervision & Training Group in
Family Therapy led by AAMFT Approved Supervisors. The next group will
start in September 2000.
Marriage & Family Therapy Supervision
Individual supervision with an AAMFT Approved Supervisor for
becoming a licensed marriage & family therapist and for AAMFT
clinical membership.
Post-Graduate Supervision for Clinical Mental
Health Counselor
Individual supervision to fulfill licensure and credentialing
requirements for clinical mental health counselors and other
professional counselors.
Consultation for Family Focused Behavioral Health
Services
Individual, group and program development consultations for
practitioners, teams and agencies that wish to develop or strengthen
family oriented components in their service delivery approaches. On-site
consultations can be arranged.
Training, Supervision & Consultation for
Mental Health Practitioners in:
Mind-Body Medicine
Understand the vital role of the mind and emotional well-being in
health and illness. Focus on integration of mind/body approaches in the
psychotherapeutic process.
Expressive Arts & Movement Therapy
Apply techniques and approaches of expressive art and movement
therapy methods in individual, couples and family therapy sessions.
Body-Oriented Psychotherapy
Increase therapeutic skills and awareness of ethical concerns and
learn specific techniques and methods to integrate body-oriented
clinical strategies into therapeutic practice.
Training & Consultation for Massage Therapists
and Body Workers
Individual and group supervision for massage
therapists and body workers. Increase skills and deepen understanding of psychological problems,
boundary issues and ethical concerns that arise when working with
clients on a physical level. Special consideration will be given to the
use of bodywork with individuals having suffered from trauma or abuse.
