Solveig Tryba, MA, LCMHC
provides counseling and psychotherapy services for adults, children and adolescents at Well & Beyond. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the State of New Hampshire as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with post-master’s experience in the mental health field since 1984.

Solveig has worked in several hospital and outpatient practice settings where she gained experience with behavioral health programs, mental health services, women’s crisis intervention and drug & alcohol treatment.

She uses an in-depth, strength-oriented psychological orientation in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy methods. Solveig sees clients for many different concerns, including relationship and grief issues.

Her specialty area is working with people who suffer from anxiety (panic, phobia, fear, obsessive-compulsive disorders and posttraumatic stress) and depression.

Solveig also has a focus in helping women and female adolescents. She uses therapeutic approaches with her female clients that pertain specifically to women’s psychological development, growth and multiple roles. She helps her clients overcome weight and body image problems, eating disorders and heal from abuse.

In addition, Solveig supports women and their partners to cope with the pain and difficulties of reproductive health problems (e.g. inability to conceive, miscarriage, stillborn baby, pelvic pain, postpartum depression, sexual difficulties, cancer, menopause, PMS).

Solveig’s work as a therapist is informed by extensive formal studies in health psychology, mind/body medicine and stress reduction. She received training from Heartwood Holistic Health Institute, the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and the Mind/Body Medical Institute, Harvard Medical School. Solveig has worked for 10 years in a healing art setting as a licensed massage therapist. Her formal studies and work experience provide Solveig with unique qualifications for working with stress-related conditions, chronic pain and other complex somatic complaints.

Solveig earned master's degrees from the University of Berlin, Germany and from Antioch New England Graduate School. Her studies in psychology and education included nonverbal therapy methods, such as expressive arts and movement. She uses writing, movement, play and the visual arts within the therapeutic context, whenever talking seems less helpful and with many of her younger clients.

Her professional practice follows the American Mental Health Counselors Association’s Code of Ethics.

Heribert Tryba, MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with almost 20 years of experience in the field of counseling and behavioral health. He has a master’s degree in clinical psychology from J. F. Kennedy University in California and completed extensive training in gestalt therapy and humanistic psychology during a two-year residency at Esalen Institute.

He is an Associate Faculty Member at Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH, where he teaches prospective mental health professionals in the Department of Applied Psychology. Heri is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Heri works with individuals, couples and families and sees latency age children, adolescents and adults at Well & Beyond. He has substantial experience in individual and family therapy, with a special expertise in couples counseling. He assists clients with relationship and parenting concerns, blended family problems, lifestyle changes, work and career issues, as well as adjustment to life transitions or other stressful challenges.

His counseling approach is strongly influenced by relational, systemic and solution-oriented brief therapy. He believes that many client concerns can be effectively addressed within a few sessions, particularly when personal strengths and resiliency are emphasized. Heri welcomes and integrates all relevant parts of a person’s life into the counseling process, including family and significant others, spiritual beliefs, physical wellness and someone’s unique way of creative expression. He relates to clients in a respectful, collaborative fashion and strongly supports them in their search for new possibilities, relational changes and personal growth.

Anna Aasgaard, MA, LMFT  is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (NH # 60).  She received her master’s degree from the Department of Applied Psychology at Antioch New England, Keene, New Hampshire.

Anna has gained extensive professional experience in a variety of health care settings. She has worked as an outpatient psychotherapist at a community mental health center since 1996. She facilitated home births as an assistant midwife, and has been involved in the hospice field for about 10 years by providing training and support to volunteers and grief counseling to families and individuals.

Anna works with individuals, couples and families and sees latency age children, adolescents and adults. She offers both individual and family therapy with a special interest working with couples. She assists clients with relationship concerns, communication issues, parenting problems, difficult transition issues, emotional problems and spiritual explorations. She helps people work through traumatic experiences and supports people through depression, grief, anxious states or other stressful situations. She endeavors to assist people to discover their inner strengths to achieve release from the effects of dependent, abusive or other discouraging situations that can drain life energy.

Anna favors a relational, strength-oriented approach where she respectfully helps clients explore possible short– and longer-term solutions to problems. Her work is informed by deep curiosity and the belief that personal well-being is enhanced when people become aware of how they can live ethically and take responsibility for their own lives. Existential questions are often explored. She sees herself as a collaborative facilitator who listens carefully, asks questions, provides feedback and attempts to assist others in finding solutions to their challenges.
